De Duine Lodge is situated close to the banks of the Kuruman River on 3 ha of bush land. The lodge is located at 7 Thompson Avenue, 5 kilometer from the Kuruman Central Business District, yet far enough from main roads and within walking distance of the world famous Moffat Mission Station where Moffat church was completed in 1838. It was in this church that the Moffat daughter, Mary, married the explorer David Livingstone.
The 1400 ha Billy Duvenhage Nature Reserve, two kilometers along the Hotazel Road, is home to several game and bird species.
